Eligibility

First Year- Architecture [ 5 Years duration ]

1.Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, All India Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidate

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National
  • The candidate should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects
  • he candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e.JEE) or NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

2.NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries,Foreign National. –

  • The candidate should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects
  • The candidate should have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject
  • The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e.JEE) or NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

Failure of the candidate in making full and correct statements in the application form and/ or suppression of any information and/or submission of false documents shall lead to disqualification of the candidate for admission or even at later date during the admission process. Such a candidate will be debarred from the institution. Therefore the candidate is required to make only such claims which could be substantiated by relevant original documents.

College Fees

B. Arch course is affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur, Fees Regulating Authority formulated by Government of Maharashtra is the authority for determining fees. Interim and final fees, which will be declared by Fees Regulating Authority, will be final binding on the college and the students. For the details of the fee structure approved by Shikshan Shulka Samiti please refer www.sssamiti.org.inThe revision in the fees if any, by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti will be binding on the students. The students taking admission in the institute will have to pay the fees accordingly.

University Fees

Candidates shall be required to pay fees as prescribed by the concerned University from time to time.

SCHOLARSHIP/ FREE SHIP/ CONCESSION IN TUITION AND OTHER FEES :

The scheme/mode of concessions for eligible SC/ST/VJ DT/ NT(A) / NT(B) / NT(C)/ NT(D) / SBC /OBC category candidates, in tuition & other fees may be announced by the State Government from time to time. All the schemes regarding concession in tuition & other fees shall be available to candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by respective authorities offering such concession in fees from time to time. Students belonging to minority community may apply for the ‘Merit-cum- Means Based Scholarship Scheme’ of Government of India/ Government of Maharashtra. The eligibility criterion, procedure for application, application proforma and scheme details are available on www.dte.org.in/mcm/ or www.minorityaffairs.gov.in or www.dte.org.in or www.dte.org.in/scholarship and www.mdd.maharashtra.gov.in

TRANSFER OF ADMISSION

The application of the students who have passed the previous year from other college or other University for 1st to 2nd year can be considered. They are advised to confirm the following rules.

  • 1. They must have passed in all the subjects of the previous year.
  • 2. They must obtain NO objection certificate from their previous college.
  • 3. They have to submit mark list, leaving certificate in original if and when admission is granted to them.
  • 4. They have to submit migration certificate in case of change of university.
  • 5. Other certificate related to their category and other details required for the admission authority have to submit within the stipulated time.
  • 6. Transfer admission will be given only if seats are available.
  • 7. Please note that admission procedure will be governed by rules and regulations as prescribed by the Admission Regulating Authority and Director of Technical Education, and Council of Architecture.

CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

The candidate should have taken admission by paying necessary tuition fee and should have submitted original certificates before he/she applies for cancellation. In case candidate fails to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit, the admission shall be treated as cancelled. The candidate desirous of canceling admission shall apply for cancellation in the specified format only (please refer http://www.dte.org.in) or Information brochure of DTE.The candidate should have taken admission by paying necessary tuition fee and should have submitted original certificates before he/she applies for cancellation. In case candidate fails to submit any of the original documents within the allowed time limit, the admission shall be treated as cancelled. The candidate desirous of canceling admission shall apply for cancellation in the specified format only (please refer http://www.dte.org.in) or Information brochure of DTE.

Note

If any of the statement made in application form or any information supplied or any certificate(s) submitted by the candidate in connection with his or her admission is later on at any time, found to be false or incorrect, his or her admission will be cancelled, fees forfeited and he or she may be expelled from the college by the Principal/Director.

Admission of candidate who has been admitted to any course will be treated as finally confirmed only on production of the Eligibility Certificate from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

DISCIPLINE

Students while studying in the institute, if found indulging in anti-national activities contrary to the provisions of Acts and Laws enforced by Government or in any activity contrary to rules of discipline, will be liable to be expelled from the college without any notice by the Director / Principal of the institute.

The Student will not be allowed to appear for the examination if he/ she does not attend minimum 75 per cent classes of theory, practical, drawings, etc.

PHYSICAL FITNESS

Head of the institution at his or her discretion may refer any candidate to the appropriate medical authority for ascertaining the physical fitness of the candidate to undergo the requirements of the course.
